This workshop was created with care for those who are just beginning their journey in Aerial Hoop or already have some experience and want to evolve with more safety, technique, and flow.

Over the course of two hours, we’ll explore the soft strength that exists in the air through movements designed to develop your flexibility, body awareness, and artistic expression.

Workshop Details

What to Expect from the Workshop:

Ground work: Flexibility & Conditioning
– Active and passive stretching
– Strength and mobility exercises
– Focus on safely preparing the body for aerial practice

Aerial section: Technique & Style on the Hoop – Flexibility-based movements in the air (splits, box splits, backbends)
– Flowing combinations (combos)
– Choreographed transitions with attention to detail
– Body expression and safety on the apparatus

 

Workshop Details (Beginner/Intermediate Level-Adults)

This workshop is designed for beginner and intermediate level students, with a focus on developing body awareness, strength, control, and flexibility.
We start with a full warm-up on the ground, including conditioning and flexibility exercises to prepare the body, prevent injuries, and create a deeper connection to movement. Then we move to the aerial hoop, where I guide step-by-step techniques and fluid combinations, always respecting each student’s level and helping them feel strong, confident, and supported in the air.
For this workshop, I love to focus on aerial movements that involve flexibility, especially splits, as well as choreographed combos that add a creative and artistic touch to the experience. It’s a full 2-hour workshop, designed not only for tricks but for

exploring control, transitions, and grace. 🦋✨

What to Bring to the Workshop:

To make the most of your aerial experience, here’s what we recommend you bring:

Comfortable, fitted clothing
– Preferably leggings or a one-piece bodysuit to allow freedom of

movement and avoid fabric getting caught in the hoop. – Please avoid baggy or loose clothes.

Bare feet or non-slip socks
– For better grip and safety during aerial practice.

A water bottle
– Staying hydrated is essential during the session.

About the Instructor:

 

Thainara Jacome is a professional aerial artist and dancer with over a decade of dedication to the art of movement.Her journey began in early childhood she started ballet at 3 years old, joined the circus at 7 years old, and discovered her true passion, the Aerial Hoop, at 14 years old. Since then, it has become her main form of artistic expression.

Thainara has performed in renowned theme parks and on international cruise lines, including Pullmantur Cruises and Royal Caribbean, captivating audiences with her graceful strength and presence in the air. With a strong foundation in classical dance, flexibility, and aerial technique, she has developed a unique style that blends power, elegance, and creativity.

Today, she shares her passion through transformative experiences that celebrate the body, the art, and the freedom to fly.
